Yang Hyun Suk and Yang Min Suk decide to leave all positions in YG Entertainment
The Yang brother, Yang Hyun Suk and Yang Min Suk, resigned from YG Entertainment, leaving all their positions in the company. Recently, the company has been rumoured for several controversies, starting from Seungri’s Burning Sun and his KakaoTalk’s chat, tax avoidance charges, and the latest from ex-iKON member, B.I’s drug scandal.
As the CEO and head producer of YGE, Yang Hyun Suk on June 14 officially announced his resignation from the company that he established in 23 years ago. Hyun Suk wrote an apology letter through YGE’s homepage.
Through the letter, he apologized to all his label artists and fans who always support YGE. He also said sorry to all YGE employees who still work hard amid many criticisms. He thought if he stayed in the company, it could be harmful for label artists and YGE, so he chose to step down from all his positions and business at YG.
He hoped the best for the company in the future and no further harm will come to its label artists and fans.
The truth will be revealed after investigation, as he closed his apology letter.
Following his brother resignation, Yang Min Suk the lead director of YG Entertainment announced his departure from the company.
