Woodstock 50 Festival will have a New Location, Why the Investor Pulling Themselves from this Event?

USA – The August 16-19 music festival is reported to have to find a new place for the event as the not only lost an investor, but also the festival venue in New York, USA.

However, on Monday (6/10), a representative from Watkins Glen motorcycle racing arena stated that,  they terminated the permission to use this location for Woodstock in accordance with the terms of the contract without explaining why the contract was suddenly ended, making the arena will not hold the Woodstock 50 Festival this year.

The music festival, Woodstock which will be held for the 50th time this year is planned to be held on August 16-19, in the Watkins Glen motorcycle racing area in New York, with Jay Z and Miley Cyrus as the singers who are going to perform in this festival.

According to the source, the reason why the music festival is having some issues right now is because last April, the main investor from Japan withdrew from the event organization as there are several issues with licensing, security and environmental sanitation in this upcoming event.

However, one of the Woodstock 50 organizers, Gregory Peck said that, the music festival team is still discussing with other places about the event organization. He claimed to be impatient to immediately share with fans about the new location and hopefully can sell the tickets online and offline soon.

According to Reuters, organizers claimed last month, they have received a backing of new funds and investors and they are sure the show will still be able to be held nicely and spectacular.

The ticket sales are planned to begin in the coming weeks with around 60 thousand people are expected to participate in this music festival.
