Visit to Yumeshima, The Venue of The Expo Participating Countries Last Day of The International Planning Conference

On the morning of the 26th, the last day of the "International Planning Conference", where the countries and regions participating in the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 gathered, representatives from each country visited the artificial island of Yumeshima (Konohana Ward, Osaka City), the site of the Expo which visited.

The conference began on the 25th and was attended by representatives from more than 100 countries and regions. The visit to Yumeshima was part of the program, and we were divided into two groups to visit the site where the land preparation work was progressing.

The first group, consisting of more than 100 people, mainly from countries that will pay for the construction of the pavilion themselves, arrived at around 8:30 am. For about 10 minutes near the planned site of the "Forest of Silence" in the center of the venue, they took pictures of the area with their smartphones and checked the surroundings with documents in hand.

Afterwards, the participants will consult and negotiate with the Japan Association for the World Exposition, which hosts the Expo, regarding pavilion construction, and will visit Expo'70 Commemorative Park (Suita City, Osaka), which was the venue for the previous Osaka Expo.
