Trump: Talk with Xi Jinping Would Be "Fun"

WASHINGTON - Aftermath of the tariff raise, President Trump wants to meet Xi Jinping. The meeting between the two leaders is expected to happen in next month at the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan.

Just today, China announced that they would impose the same raise to the untaxed American goods in China worth US$ 60 billion. This trade wars alone have put the world in a chokehold as neither of the countries are willing to hold back their barrels on each other. The hike percentage was even more baffling, as China raised its tariff more than double, from 5% to 25%. Both of the countries decided to embrace “protectionism” as they rocketed the tariff high into the skies.

Reacting to the Chinese move, Trump stated that he would meet Xi Jinping to further negotiate the tariff since he said that the negotiation concerning the trading between the countries is still available. Even though the talk between two countries last week ended in a dead end, Trump claimed that he and Xi Jinping managed a really good relationship, and the talks between the countries were progressing to a prolific and constructive direction.

Contrary to the POTUS’ statement, China’s State Councilor Wang Yi stated that the last talk between he and US representative in Russia did not go in “one direction”, and he demanded US to be more “considerable” toward China.

Around 5.000 American goods, including frozen vegetables and liquified gas will feel the hike starting 1 June. Meanwhile, all “Made in China” gadgets are included in America’s tariff list, excluding medicine.

Meanwhile, lately US soybean farmers are crying out to Donald Trump, concerning the tariff raise. Since due to tariff raise, the soybean sales to China is yelling “TIMBER”. Trump promised that America will inject those farmers with US$ 15 billion to help them with the phenomenon.
