Trump Predicts a Market Crash If He Doesn't Win 2020 Election

Trump wrote a tweet on Saturday about the market. He wrote that if he doesn’t want win the 2020 election, the market crash will happen. He tweeted after he hyped up an upcoming launch of his campaign at a Florida rally. The event will be held on Tuesday.

“The Trump Economy is setting records, and has a long way up to go… However, if anyone but me takes over in 2020 (I know the competition very well), there will be a Market Crash the likes of which has not been seen before! KEEP AMERICA GREAT,” Trump tweeted on Saturday.

This is not the first time Trump has claimed the success of market under his belt. Back in January this year, Trump has written a similar tweet which said, “You want to see a Stock Market Crash, Impeach Trump!” He has been predicting for quite some time that the economy will go bad if it is not under his control.

That was not the only tweet he made about the market. Last year, Trump tweeted, “The Stock Market is up massively since the Election, but is now taking a little pause – people want to see what happens with the Midterms. If you want you Stocks to go down, I strongly suggest voting Democrat.”

However, Bloomberg reported the contrast to his tweet. Based on data from Macrotrends, it says that the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average has been quite average under Trump’s precedential. It is actually a worse result when compared to former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton’s.
