Trump: Moon Is Part of Mars

WASHINGTON - Age like a wine, not Trump. President of the United States, Donald Trump, made a controversial tweet that caused another public uproar. This time, it was not about his comment about other countries, but rather about his rant on scientific matter against NASA.

Trying to outwit the geniuses at NASA, Donald Trump rebuked NASA for their plans regarding scientific lunar exploration on his tweets. Nonetheless, the award went to how Trump mistook the Moon as part of the red planet Mars.

“For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon – We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science!” tweeted Trump on 8 June.

The power of netizens was quickly manifested against the tweet. Upon reading Trump’s tweet, many netizens were both flabbergasted and cynical about Trump’s science illiteracy. They did not let Trump off the hook for claiming that our natural satellite belonged to Mars.

Some netizens began to roast Trump real good. “You should put slap tariff on Moon, so Mars can take it back,” said @WillKirbs94. One Twitter account make fun of Trump by telling him to go to Uranus instead: “How about you go to Uranus?” said @tonyposnanski.

One user even went as far as comparing Trump’s reign to Moon, “Great, Trump destroyed America, now he wants to give Moon to Mars,” tweeted @Pappiness.

Evidently, all netizens all agreed on one point: Trump should concentrate on being a “good” president, than intervening NASA’s business. A nickel free piece of advice, Mr. Trump, if you know nothing about science, do not drop facts about science over the science dudes.
