Trump & May Talk, 250,000 to Go on Strike

LONDON - British people just hate Trump. On the second day of his visitation to UK, President of the United States, Donald Trump, was set to meet Theresa May, Prime Minister of UK set to depart on 7 June, from breakfast to lunch. The talks between the two range from politics to economics, and one topic may also include Brexit.

Trump arrived in UK on Monday (3/6), and of course, his first visitation was to Buckingham Palace to meet Queen Elizabeth II.

British people decided to show their "love" for Trump by gathering 250,000 people at 11 a.m local time to protest, spanning from Trafalgar Square to PM’s residence at Downing Street. Jeremy Corbyn, head of Labour Party, spearheaded the protest.

The decision to put Jeremy Corbyn as their spearhead is no coincidence, since he wanted to “defend the people and world hurt under Donald Trump’s reign”. Furthermore, Jeremy Corbyn even refused to attend Monday banquet hosted by the Queen for the Trumps. For the protesters themselves, they went against Trump’s bigotry and divisive politics.

About 10,000 Scotland Yard police officers went down on streets to barricade these protesters in a £25 million operation, should they go anarchic. In other words, the protesters could not go any near to Downing Street, as they marched to streets in Central London.

Protests across UK have been banned in Manchester, Belfast, and Birmingham. 8 other cities in UK are about to also forbid any protest.

Prior to his trip, Trump had sparked several flames. He stated in an interview with The Sun tabloid that Duchess of Sussex (Meghan Markle) was “nasty” regarding her 2016 tweet against his presidential candidacy, and upon arriving on Monday, Trump made a strident tweet against Sadiq Khan, mayor of London, calling him “stone cold loser”.
