Trade Wars: Huawei's Upcoming Laptop Delayed

Despite its solid statement, Huawei had to bow down to Trade Wars. Since one of the fruits of the Wars was ban for Huawei from entering US’ market, Huawei had to strive with all of its gadgets, having been relying to US’ technology all along.

Huawei was promising HongMeng starting Wednesday (12/6) for all of its smartphones which had been using Google’s Android OS all this time, before the ban ran into force.

Nonetheless, since they were too busy with HongMeng OS, they also forgot that their laptop, MateBook, ran on Windows, also a tech giant from US.

Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei Technologies Consumer Business Group, confirmed that the laptop had to wait. The newest unit of the laptop was actually scheduled to be released this week.

So, how long should the fans wait? Mr. Yu unfortunately stated that the release date was still unknown. But, as long as the ban was still on for Huawei, then Huawei fans had to wait quite much longer for the laptop or even never.

However, should the ban be lifted, Huawei laptop would surely dominate the market. Many people, both general and expert people, were enthusiastic with the performance of the laptop. Therefore, many people crossed their fingers, so that Trump would lift the ban from Huawei’s shoulder.

This would only intensify people’s perspectives that US is trying to hold China’s technology development down. But little do they know, banning Huawei was like a double edged decision.

Surely, it harms Huawei’s interest, but moreover, it also halts development of 5G network in US.
