Tomoya Oku "one of the most valuable experiences in my life" Inspired by two great seniors, Masaharu Fukuyama and Yo Oizumi
He is the youngest of the regular cast members, but he commented on the atmosphere of the shooting: "It's a friendly atmosphere, and there is always a lot of laughter on set. The story is very serious, but during breaks, Mr. Fukuyama and Mr. Oizumi give us interesting talks, and we are always laughing. When the two of them get together, it's like a comedy exchange," he told me with a smile.
I can't believe I get to work with Fukuyama and Oizumi," she said happily. I still can't believe that I, an 18-year-old, am participating in a film with the two of you. (We haven't worked together since "Ryomaden," and I don't think there will be many opportunities for the two of us to work together again in the future, so I'm having one of the most precious experiences of my life right now.
I can tell when I am interviewing them. She seems to be the kind of girl that seniors like. She says that she is now able to talk with Fukuyama and Oizumi without being nervous, and that they discussed how to handle her first appearance at a variety show.
He said, "Fukuyama-san has a three-dimensional
conception of what he wants to do when he does variety shows. He has an idea
from the beginning, goes through various steps to bring it to that idea, and
then makes a final decision with a bang. But I don't think I can imitate him
anymore (laughs). Mr. Oizumi said, "Oku-kun has a beautiful nape, so why
don't you show it off? (Laughs). I would show the nape of my neck, and then
when the camera came around, I would turn around and say, "Last man,"
and make a determined face. Mr. Fukuyama also advised me to show off my
"beautiful skin. The two of them are really too kind to me, and they even
pay attention to me. She tried to put this advice into practice on the set, but
failed because she did it before the camera was even close to the camera. The
18-year-old, who just graduated from high school this spring, was embarrassed,
saying, "I won't do it again." However, he was taken care of by many
seniors at this site, and felt that one day Oku might be in his position.
