Tokyo Disneyland and Sea to Extend Opening Hours to 9:00 a.m. Next Month
Oriental Land, the operator of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, has decided to extend the opening hours of the two theme parks from the first of next month, following the lifting of the emergency declarations in the Tokyo metropolitan area's first three prefectures. However, in order to ease the congestion, there will be an hour difference in the closing time of each park.
Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are currently open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., but on April 22, Oriental Land, the park's operator, announced that it would extend the opening hours from the first of next month.
According to the announcement, the park will open at 9:00 a.m. on both days until the 18th of next month.
The closing time will be an hour difference between the two theme parks to avoid congestion in public transportation.
Tokyo Disneyland will close at 8:00 p.m.

The number of daily visitors to each park will be limited to 10,000 or less during this month, but will be raised to 20,000 or less from the first of next month.
In addition, some events in Tokyo Disneyland, which had been postponed due to the declaration of a state of emergency, will begin on the 5th of next month.
Oriental Land says that it will reexamine its opening hours after next month's 19th.
