Tokyo Comic Con to Kick Off in November

CHIBA - For pop-con and comic lovers, don’t get sad if you cannot attend San Diego Comic Con, since its sister, Tokyo Comic Con, is here! Founded by Stan Lee, Steve Wozniak, and other comics, the grand 3-day event is going to kick off in 22 November in Chiba, precisely at Makuhari Messe complex, exhibition hall 9-11.

The first Tokyo Comic Con was held 3 years ago, in 2016. Held in Tokyo, it attracted around 30,000. The number grew to 40,000 the following year, following the appearance of top stars such as Mads Mikkelsen and the pioneer of the event himself, Stan Lee. In 2018, the number grew to around 63,000, attracted by the appearance of Tom Hiddleston, known for his role as Loki in the MCU, and Ezra Miller, known as The Flash in DCEU.

At this event, the comic book and pop-con lovers can browse around the convention to exhibit from various comic industry both domestic and international to gaming industry. It is not rare to hear any announcement made in Comic Con.

In addition, in this Comic Con, you can also browse for rare, historical items not found in market which you can bring home with right price such as gadgets, toys, and rare vintage comic books. At the utmost enjoyment, the comics fanboys/girls can also ask for autograph or photograph with the artists of the comics themselves. Tokyo Comic Con surely will make you feel like a kid again!
