This is the Millennial Habit While Hunting a Holiday Promo Ticket

The era of digital and social media drive changes in consumption behavior from product shopping to experience. Vacation or road is one of the current millennial generation behavior trends. The latest survey from Agoda, online accommodation reservation platform, reveals the things the Indonesian millennium wants to do to get the best price for their holiday. There is also an easy way to get the best price without wasting time.
This online survey was conducted early November 2017 to more than 500 Indonesian respondents aged 25-34 years. Here are the results of behavior-related surveys in hunting for cheap prices for a vacation.
First, find a promo. 76% of respondents look for promo voucher codes on the Internet, 64% follow news promos via social media, 38% update internet pages constantly pending price drops, 30% open anonymous internet pages to avoid being detected from IP addresses.
Second, look for maximum discounts through various sources. There are 73% who open more than 5 pages of windows on the Internet to compare all prices. Then, 44% enroll in some loyalty programs even though they are not loyal to any brand. There are 45% sign up to several mailing lists so as not to miss the latest promos as well as 26% sign up to multiple credit cards at once to get the maximum discount.
Third, get together to find the best promo. There are 30% who create a group chat with friends and share "secret" promotional information. Then, 57% plan an early vacation schedule with a friend so they can find a promo on the right date.
