The Spirit of Ramadan in Sikh Temple in Dubai

Dubai, UAE - In this holy month, the manager of the Sikh Gurdwara worship house Guru Nanak Darbar spread the invitation of free joint break fasting event through their social media accounts and voluntarily provided halal menus to break fasting and provided a place of prayer.

The deputy leader of Guru Nanak Darbar's Gurdwara, Bubbles Kandhari said on Wednesday (29/5), this activity is the best way to show the world all groups to be friendly because whether you are Hindus, Muslims, or Christians, it doesn't matter, all are born the same as humans.

In previous years, Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar only held a one-day joint opening event during Ramadan. However, because the government of the United Arab Emirates set this year as the Year of Tolerance, the Gurdwara offered break fasting menus for 30 days during the month of Ramadan.

According to Reuters, an Indian expatriate who is Muslim and lives in Dubai, Shuaib and Akil, said he often brought their families to the Gurdwara to breakfasting, and he was very interested to see where everyone gathered and to show his children about the joy of togetherness.
