The balance of 10% of customers changes, Mandiri: don't panic!

Saturday morning (20/7) Mandiri customers complained about the oddity in their account balance. The balance in their savings has changed, some have decreased, some have increased.

Responding to the complaint, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) expressed their apologies. Bank Mandiri ensures that customer funds in their accounts are safe and will not be lost.

Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary, Rohan Hafas during a press conference at Plaza Bank Mandiri explained that the change in balance amount occurred because there was a process of moving the system. Exactly it happens when process moves from core system to back up system which is routinely carried out at the end of the day. But this time, there was an error in the 10% balance data of Bank Mandiri customers.

Ronan asked the customers not to panic, because Mandiri guarantees that customer balances will recover soon in the next 2-3 hours. He said that the company had inspected the damaged system as soon as possible to find out whether there was hardware malfunction or anything else such as software or software.

Not only Bank Mandiri's account balance, this disruption has also affected e-money electronic money service users. E-money users cannot top up the balance on this electronic card. Even so, e-money cards can still be used for transactions.
