Suspect Kento Nagayama, NHK "considering response," scheduled to appear in "Taiga" and "EAST RIBE 2”
Following the arrest of Kento Nagayama, 34, broadcasters and movie companies are busy responding to programs and productions in which the suspect is scheduled to appear.
According to NHK, the company is currently considering how to respond to the case.
Nagayama
is the younger brother of actor Eita Nagayama (40), who made his acting debut
in 2007 and won the Japan Academy Prize for Best New Actor for "Soft
Boy," released in 2010. His major film credits include the NHK historical
drama "Idaten" and "Reversal Orchestra" (NTV), and in film,
"Love Life" directed by Koji Fukada, which was selected in competition
at last year's Venice International Film Festival.
The suspect, Kento Nagayama, also appears in "Tokyo
Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween Arc - Fate" (in theaters now), a sequel to
"Tokyo Revengers," a film adaptation of the popular comic "Tokyo
Manji Revengers" The second part of the same film, "Tokyo Revengers
2: Halloween in Blood -Decisive Battle-," which will be released on March
30. Warner Bros. Pictures, the film's distributor, said, "At this point,
we have no answers. We refrain from commenting".
