Stan Lee’s Former Manager Investigated

Keya Morgan, the man who stood beside the legendary Stan Lee, was arrested for elder abuse. Stan Lee was an iconic figure to the iconic comic company, Marvel. He was known to appear in most of their movies or TV series as cameo, to pay respect of what he has accomplished through his Marvel characters.

Currently, Marvel stands as the second most grossing superhero franchise, and by Monday, “Avengers: Endgame” is expected to dethrone James Cameron’s Avatar to be the most grossing movie ever made.

However, Stan Lee could not see the accomplishment. The legendary man known for his “Excelsior!” catchphrase passed away in November 2018, due to cardiac arrest, heart and respiratory failures, catching up with his wife who passed away in 2017. Stan Lee was then cremated. The world mourned for the greatest man in comic industry.

Nonetheless, the same cannot be said to Keya Morgan, the former manager of Stan Lee. Today (15/5), a warrant by Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has been signed to investigate and apprehend Keya Morgan, who is charged for allegedly 5 elder abuses by abusing Lee’s rights, embezzlement, theft, forgery, and misdemeanor towards Lee. The investigation led to the fact that the fact of abuse came up several months after Lee’s sudden death.

Last summer of 2018, Stan Lee himself filed a restraining order against Morgan. Lee claimed that upon taking over Lee’s personal business, Morgan has deprived from him the rights to meet his family and embezzled US$ 5 million of Stan Lee’s asset.

The apples never fall far from the tree. Beforehand, Lee also filed a lawsuit against Jerardo Olivarez, the predecessor of Keya Morgan, for financial abuse and allegedly selling Lee’s blood to Las Vegas.
