Sophie Turner was upset with the petition to remake Game of Thrones season 8

The popular Game of Thrones series that aired on HBO ended after 8 seasons. Unfortunately the last season of the series received many protests from loyal fans. They expressed reservations about the final episode. They also questioned the writing of the fantasy genre drama storyline.

As a form of protest, they made a petition on the Change.org website asking to re-create the last series of Game of Thrones. They also said that the creators of Game of Thrones, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff as incompetent writers and creators. The petition has received 1.3 million signatures until now.

This petition received a response from actress Sophie Turner who played the character Sansa Stark. Quoted from an interview with The New York Times, Sophie said that she wasn’t surprised by the reaction and petition from a loyal fans of Game of Thrones.

However, she felt that the petition was very disrespectful to the crew, writers, and all members in the shooting process. Considering they have worked for almost 10 years for the series.

Even so, the last episode in season 8 scored a record. The episode entitled "The Iron Throne" was given a 67% rating by Rotten Tomatoes (as of May 21). Based on reports from the previous Deadline, this final was watched by more than 19.3 million viewers on all platforms (including HBO GO and HBO Now). Beyond the highest sequence of the previous week's episode with 18.4 million viewers.
