Snow Man's Ren Meguro plays "the opposite of himself" in his first starring role in a drama series as "the most selfish man in the world.

This is a live-action adaptation of a popular manga of the same title, and is an entertainment story about two men who are polar opposites who start their own businesses, earn 1 trillion dollars (trillion dollars = 100 trillion yen) in unconventional ways, and try to gain everything in the world.  Meguro plays Haru (Yo Tennoji), "the most selfish man in the world. 　

Meguro, who got his big break with last year's drama "silent" (Fuji TV) and is currently starring in the movie "My Happy Marriage," takes on his long-awaited first starring role in a drama series. 　The role of Haru is that of a charismatic character whose weapons are his bluff, ambition, and unparalleled communication skills. I'm excited about this new role," he said. "I've played mostly good-looking young men, so when I read the original story, I was very happy to be able to enter this world because the story is so interesting. 　

Actor Yuto Sano (25) plays Gaku (Gaku Taira), a "serious and clumsy engineer" who teams up with Haru. He is a computer geek with excellent programming skills, although he is not very good at communicating. Sano, who is a fan of the original story, says, "I was very surprised and happy when I was offered the role. I myself am not good with machines, so I am practicing (laughs).
