Showing Signs of Weakness, Palestine Disappointed with Arab countries that are present at the US Conference

Palestine - Palestinian officials expressed their disappointment over the decisions of several Arab countries, including Jordan, Egypt and Maroko who were present yesterday on Tuesday (6/25) at a conference on proposals for peace in the Middle East of the United States idea in Manama, Bahrain.

It is reported that, this conference was held by the United States to outline a peace plan for his idea which President Donald Trump claimed was "the agreement of the century" to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that has been going on for a long time.

Zuhair Al Shun, The Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia considered that, the presence of Arab countries at the conference a sign of weakness. He also stated that, there are Arab countries that are indeed submissive to the US invitation to attend the conference and this is a sign of weakness in the Arab countries and that he was very disappointed with the decision.

Al Shun expressed that, the Palestinian position which rejected the US peace proposal as Al Shun considered the US proposal inappropriate as a peace plan because it was in favor of Israel.

However, in the peaceful proposal, the US plans to raise USD 50 billion or IDR 708 trillion in funds for Palestine and its neighboring countries in the region. The White House said that, raising hundreds of trillions of funds will be carried out for the next decade to help Palestine and other Arab countries.
