Ryoma Takeuchi's stunning performance in "Persona no Mikkoku" Expressing three personalities with changes in tone of voice and eyes

Former detective Shishimai Wataru (Sawamura Kazuki) lives with his only daughter while working as a temp. However, a series of kidnappings occur in the neighborhood. He is summoned by the suspect, Shuta Motomura (Ryoma Takeuchi), to cooperate in the investigation. Moreover, Motomura has dissociative identity disorder (DID), which means he has multiple personalities. This case was once called "multiple personalities.

Seven years ago, Shishimai's wife (Akiko Yada) was murdered by someone, which led to his resignation. Motomura also had a series of misfortunes since his childhood. The setting in which such a former detective and a suspect pursue a case together is unique and keeps the viewer on the edge of their seats. Sawamura's calm and collected ex-detective suited him well, but it was Takeuchi who won the acting award. Motomura has three personalities: Shuta himself, the numerical genius Kabuto, and the ferocious Baku. They say and do different things, and it is hard to tell who will suddenly come to the fore. Takeuchi's performance was outstanding as he changed his tone of voice, his movements, and his eyes each time.

The "persona" of the title is a mask, or in psychology, "the external aspect of a person. At one point, Shishimai says, "Everyone has several faces. Everyone lives using a number of faces. It was a brilliantly developed film that delves into the karma of human beings who cannot live otherwise.
