Rejected Marriage Proposal, This Indian Man Kidnapped and Took Hostage of his Ex’s Father

New Delhi, India - Times of India reported, a 24 years old young man named Sanjeev desperately kidnapped his ex-girlfriend's father, after his invitation to get married was rejected since him and his daughter have dated for one year. The action was done so that his ex-girlfriend would marry him and got the approval from her father. This man who worked as a courier at an online shopping company is reported that he met a woman from Dwarka from his friend.

Although this romantic relationship was initially opposed by the women's family, Sanjeev was finally able to convince the two parents of the woman he loved to be engaged to him. However, apparently, the woman avoided Sanjeev for a reason. After the two got engaged, the woman found that Sanjeev was also in a relationship with another woman, who he has asked to marry him as well.

As the result, the woman decided to cancel the engagement and her marriage with Sanjeev. Not accepting the decision of his lover, Sanjeev began trying to persuade his ex-lover to reconsider their relationship. However, when Sanjeev's efforts did not success, the young man began acting desperately by threatening his ex-lover's family.

Worried about Sanjeev's possible actions, the woman's family decided to move to their residence in Bhopal, but the father who had to work as a cashier in Palam remained in the city. Found out that his ex girlfriend was no longer in town, Sanjeev decided to kidnap the girl's father with the help of three of his friends. Using a car loan, the four men went to Palam, where the girl's father worked in a shop.

On Sunday (5/26/2019), they launched their action to kidnap the man from his workplace and took him to Mathura. On the way, Sanjeev forced his ex-girlfriend’s father to contact his daughter and said that he must marry Sanjeev, because "the young man is a good child".

However, deputy police commissioner Anto Alphonse, quoted by India Today said that, on Monday (5/27/2019) night, the young man was arrested in Mathura with the help of technical supervision from a team led by Rajinder Singh and Inspector Sanjay Kumar who rescued the victims, thanks to the employer who reported to the police.

It is reported that the victim's daughter told the investigation team that she knew Sanjeev and suspected that he kidnapped her father. Police then tracked the whereabouts of the young man through his cellphone number when he contacted his ex-lover from Baraut, Meerut, until finally arriving at Mathura.

However, the police are still hunting down the three friends of the perpetrators who helped carry out the crime and hopefully to find them soon.
