新東名で追突事故　当事者、停止中の後続車奪って逃走か

Rear-end collision party at Shin Tomei Expressway

Around 4 am on the 14th, there was a rear-end collision between a passenger car and a large truck in the Yakurayama Tunnel on the Shin Tomei Expressway in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In an attempt to prevent multiple accidents, when a man in the following car stopped and left the car, several people in the passenger car that caused the accident robbed the man's car and ran away. The stolen car was found in the city, and the Shizuoka Prefectural Police are voluntarily listening to the situation from people who seem to have escaped.

According to the prefectural police, the accident was discovered by a report from the driver of a large truck that was rear-ended. Those who fled are believed to have stolen the car while the man behind him was preparing the flare. The stolen car was left in the parking lot in Shimada City. The prefectural police are investigating the detailed situation with a view to theft cases.
