PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF DKI GIVE 50% DISCOUNT FOR TICKET TAX

Jakarta - Provincial Government of DKI will give discount or discount of 50% ticket tax of Asian Games 2018.

Vice Governor of DKI Jakarta, Sandiaga Uno, said that the policy is a form of Jakarta Provincial Government's support for the Asian Games Asian Games 2018. "I have confirmed 50% discount for the ticket," he said at City Hall, Monday (21/5).

DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, he said, can not exempt the full ticket tax as already done by the provincial government of South Sumatra and West Java. Because the city government is still hampered Perda no. 6/2010 on General Provisions of Regional Tax.

Whereas Article 42 paragraph (1) in the regulation stipulates on the request of the taxpayer, the Governor may provide the highest tax deduction from the Tax principal.

"For Inasgoc [Indonesia Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee] I asked for taxes removed 100% us enggak nemu because the principle can not. I hope Mr. Erick [Chairman of Inasgoc, Erick Thohir] is patient, we will find a solution, "he said.

Nevertheless, Sandi wants to discuss with DPRD DKI to find ways to tax the 2018 Asian Games match can really be abolished.

"I again challenge my friends in the DPRD and Dinas to help. Because of this Inasgoc request, "he said.

Taxes that can be earned from the sale of tickets Asian Games was quite large. Referring to the Jakarta Provincial Regulation No.3 / 2015 on Entertainment Tax, the Asian Games tax goes into the category of international-class sporting events, which is set at 15%.

This means that if DKI Provincial Government provides maximum tax deduction, every ticket sold will be taxed at 7.5%. This figure is still quite large considering the tax for national sporting events is only pegged 5%.

Inocgoc Chairman Erick Thohir has asked Jakarta government to move quickly to get a decision related to the tax exemption of Asian Games 2018 tickets.

"I think the city administration under the leadership of Mr. Wagub [Sandiaga Uno] continues to conduct weekly meetings to find solutions for the Asian Games," he said in Jakarta Capital City, Monday (21/5).

ORIENTATION OF ACTIONS

Erick also asks for the Capital City government's compliance with the match tickets tax. Because the Provincial Government of South Sumatra and the Provincial Government of West Java Already make sure to remove the tax ticket match.

Moreover, he continued, the event of the largest sporting event in Asia was to live on the eve of the opening of August 18, 2018.

"Now we have Action oriented not just planning. Of course staying 89 days we also still continue to add progress or another breakthrough so it can run smoothly, "he added.
