Proper Dieting Tips During Fasting Month

Follow safe and proper diet process. This way is important to know because usually our weight will get more than another month due to the excessive eating, especially when breakfasting. Then, how the correct and effective diet during Ramadan?

Diet during fasting month is not too different when dieting in another month, but we must pay attention to the nutrition balancing, it apply when breakfasting and pre-dawn meal.

Breakfasting and pre-dawn meal moment could destroy your diet program during Ramadhan, it because you feel utterly hungry and do excessive eating, so that you disregarded nutrition balance.

Here’s diet tips during fasting month, so that you can appear more healthy and gorgeous when Raya Day :

1.     Avoid food and drink that containing sugar/high sugar

For you who dieting during the fasting month, it is good to not excessive consume sweet dring and sweet food, especially when breakfasting. Although sugar is a source of energy, it remains to say that sugar is also one of the meals that makes fat. Its because when fasting, the production of insulin in the body will experience deficiency. While, insulin serves to change sugar into energy for the body. Due to lack of insulin, the sugar that enters your will be a fat.

2. Avoid fried-food

These tips for dieting is important to do. Fried food containing plenty of fat and this kind of fat is saturated fatty. This saturated fat could make your body growing some fats, it also triggers bad cholesterol (LDL) in your body.

Than consuming fried food that containing saturated fats, we suggest to consuming food containing unsaturated fats such as fish, nuts, and fruits.

3. Eat foods containing proteins and fibers

Another dieting tips on fast is increasing the consumption of foods that rich in protein and fibers. Instead of consuming foods that contain a lot of calories, foods that contain proteins and fibers tending to make your belly feel full longer.

4. Drink More Mineral Water

Do not forget the importance of mineral water during fasting. A lack of water intake all day long due to fast requires you to drink lots of water when breakfasting and pre-dawn meals in order to changes the decreasing fluids of the body. For a day, you must consume mineral water as many as 3 glass when a pre-dawn meal, 3 glass when breakfasting, 3 glass after tarawih pray, and 2 glass before sleep.

5. Eat Slowly

You must eat slowly. It's better to eat snacks when breakfasting, after do tarawih pray you can eat your heavy meals to charge your energy and nutrition.

6. Do Some Exercise or Sport Activity

One of the best dieting tips when fast routinely does exercise. To produce energy, the body usually burns sugar (glucose) in the body. But, when fast the body has deprived of glucose, the body will find another alternative source of energy, this time is from excessive fats in the body. Choose light exercise and do the exercise 30 minutes before breakfasting or 2 – 3 hours after breakfasting.

7. Watch Your Meals Portion When Break-Fasting

Eating with excessive portions could improve sugar blood. As mentioned before, our bodies doesn’t producing a lot of insulin when fast. So, to not eating excessively try to eat with smaller plates size.
