Philip Morris Launched a Cigarettes Alternative Store in Africa

Want to quit smoking? This device might be a great solution for smokers! Phillip Morris International Inc. is a cigarettes maker for Marlboro. They eventually created a cigarettes alternative device for smokers which turns out to make smokers switched to use this device. This device is called IQOS and it is actually an abbreviation for ‘I Quit Smoking’. The device has actually first launched in late 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa at a pilot store. They were building a pilot store to test the market’s appetite.

Good news for the company, many smokers decided to quit smoking and started using IQOS. The IQOS device then becoming a demand which make the company to released IQOS 3 on November 2018. Due to the big interest and sales, Phillip Morris launched their first flagship store that is located in Johannesburg on Thursday, July 25.

The device is widely popular due to its effect to the smokers. A 33-year-old man Evans Mayonga stated that he has been feeling better after using the device. He revealed that he coughed a lot when using cigarettes. After switching to IQOS he said that he doesn’t cough and he feels better. Mayonga added that the device gives one the same satisfaction as the normal cigarette.

IQOS is quite different from traditional cigarettes or the famous vape. It is stated that the device heat tobacco-filled sticks wrapped in paper to generate an adequate amount of aerosol that contains nicotine.
