PepsiCo Launched A Mini Version of Bubly

When it comes to sparkling water, people would think about brands such as La Croix or Perrier due to their popularity. PepsiCo, who has been selling in the beverage industry since 1965, decided to step up in the game. Their intention was simple; cutting down the popularity of La Croix. Hence, in February 2018, they launched Bubly—a flavored sparkling water.

The sparkling water came out in eight flavors like lime, grapefruit, strawberry, lemon, orange, apple, mango, and cherry. The product is claimed to have zero artificial sweeteners, flavors or calories. Many have tried the newest product by PepsiCo. In addition, according to Taste of Home, Bubly tasted surprisingly good, despite being new in the game. It is also surprising how a soda-beverage company is able to create a healthy beverage option.

However, earlier this year, PepsiCo announced they are facing volume losses. Therefore, to increase price and make up for volume losses, the company decided to make smaller packs and more functional drink. This leads to PepsiCo launching the mini version of Bubly. The original bubbly can contain 12oz, while the mini ones only contain 7.5oz.

The mini Bubly will be available this week across U.S. for $4.59 per ten-pack. PepsiCo also revealed the reason why they are using can tins instead of plastic like other products. It is because Bubly is aimed for the younger generation who most of them are taking care of the earth.
