Osaka Naomi's upload on her Twitter account went viral

The famous Japanese tennis player, Naomi Osaka, is being talked again. This time, it wasn’t cause of her brilliant achievements in tennis, but because of the photos and captions that she uploaded on her personal twitter account.

On Sunday (23/6), Osaka uploaded a picture of the main protagonist character from manga and anime Prince of Tennis, Echizen Ryoma. Funny thing is, she also added the caption 'My Husband' in a joking tone on her upload. This post then become viral among netizens, especially in anime lovers.

Prince of Tennis is a manga series by Takeshi Konomi that tells the story of a junior tennis player named Echizen Ryoma who won various tournaments in the United States. He then moved to Japan and attended school in Seigaku. During his school there, he managed to join tennis clubs at his school. Slowly but surely, he also managed to become a phenomenon in winning tennis tournaments in Japan. This manga series had an anime adaptation entitled The Prince of Tennis.

Not only Osaka, Japanese tennis player, Nishikori Kei also turned out to like this series. Osaka and Nishikori also once starred in the advertising collaboration of Prince of Tennis with Nissin Foods. Unfortunately, the ad was withdrawn because of the controversy caused by Osaka's character being portrayed as pure white. Many consider this to be racist.

Osaka Naomi herself is a Japanese tennis player who had surprised the world because of her achievements in winning 2 Grand Slam tournaments. She also was ranked number one in the world, before being deposed by Asleigh Berty on Sunday (6/23)
