Ltd. have re-signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on steel supply cooperation with the target of exporting steel product supply reaching 60 thousand tons per year starting from this year and valid for the next two years.

However, the imposition of the BMAD has expired on December 19, 2018.

Krakatau Steel Commercial Director, Purwono Widodo said that Krakatau Steel is very grateful that the Australian Government will not continue the process of reviewing BMAD imposition after December 19, 2017, or just a year before BMAD ends, so that according to the anti-dumping agreement, the BMAD expires on December 19, 2018.

According to the source, the signing was done by the Commercial Director of Krakatau Steel Purwono Widodo and General Manager of Flat Rolled Products Cedex Steel & Metals Garry McInerney.

Widodo also stated that his company will continue to increase the company's exports to Australia as this is one of the sales strategies this year and it is very beneficial.
