New Store Sales Increased 8.1%, Starbucks Reached IDR 95 Trillion Assets

USA - One of the biggest coffee shops from USA, Starbucks, successfully earned turnover of up to USD 6.8 billion, equivalent to IDR 95.2 trillion in the third quarter of 2019 or international financial year. It is reported that that value grew 8.1% compared to the same period last year.

Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson explained the secret of growth that could not be separated from various strategies, starting from opening more outlets, developing new products, and intensifying promotions. The company also introduces new products in partnership with Nestle. They were also launching Starbucks and Nespresso coffee cream maker lines, as well as adding menu items at their outlets to attract new customers.

This famous coffee shop also did an attractive marketing strategy, which was a prize program that claimed to help adding 14 percent more active customers and has reached 17.2 million people overall customers.

It is reported that in the third quarter, the company opened 442 new stores, one third of which were in China. The coffee seller company closed the third quarter period with more than 30,600 outlets. The company also focused on improving the experience of customers in coffee shops and expanding the scope of shipping, even though the shipping strategy has not yet begun to produce significant results.
