New normal, here are three new rules to watch in the cinema

In recent months, all entertainment venues, including cinemas, should be temporarily closed due to corona or Covid-19 pandemic viruses.

Along with the government's great social restriction (PSBB) appeal, the cinema network in Indonesia has not been allowed to operate.

However, new or new normal lifestyles began to be held by the government by starting public facilities to the shopping center.

Related to this, if later the cinema is also re-open, there are a few things to note.

There are three new rules to watch in theaters during the normal new period. Here's the summary:

1. Digital payments

In accordance with the government-issued new policy, CGV Cinema Network will make a slight change.

If the cinema is reopened, CGV will only accept digital payments.

"Transaction process will be directed using digital payment or E-Wallet," said Hariman Chalid, PR Cinema CGV, to Kompas.com, Wednesday (10/6)

These rules are applied to prevent physical touch between visitors and employees.

2. One-seat pause

CGV's cinema network will also apply physical distancing between audiences inside the studio.

"Yes, we applied social distance seating (given the distance of one seat)," said Hariman Chalid.

Hariman ensures that CGV always follows government-issued procedures and policies.

3. Number of spectators restricted

In addition to using digital payments and one-seat pauses, CGV also implements audience restrictions.

Due to one-seat lag rules, the number of spectators per studio is limited.

"It is certain that the number of spectators will not be 100 percent of the capacity of our auditorium," said Hariman.

On the other hand, Hariman has not been able to confirm any further on the exact date that the CGV Cinema network will operate.

"To this day, we haven't gotten that information (reopening the cinema)," said Hariman.
