New Normal, Chief of Police Revokes Notice on Prohibition of Crowd

National Police Chief General, Idham Azis revoked the notice regarding the prohibition and efforts to disperse the crowd regarding the prevention of Covid-19 transmission.

The provision was previously stated in notice Number: MAK / 2 / III / 2020 dated March 19, 2020 concerning Compliance with Government Policies in Handling the Corona Virus Spread (Covid-19).

"The National Police issued a telegram letter no STR / 364 / VI / OPS.2. / 2020 dated June 25, 2020 concerning Commands to the Staff Regarding the annulment of the Police Chief's Announcement and Efforts to Support New / New Adaptation Policy," said Chief of Public Relations Division Inspector General Argo Yuwono through official information, Friday (6/26).

Furthermore, Argo said that in the telegram, each member of the police force was still asked to conduct surveillance and discipline to the public to continue to comply with the health protocol.

"Like wearing a mask, keep a distance, wash your hands and apply a clean and healthy lifestyle," he continued.

However, during this pandemic, the police were still asked to establish cross-sectoral cooperation in efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Then, continue to carry out socialization and education continuously with the parties to provide an understanding to the community during the pandemic.

"For regions that are still implementing PSBB / regions that are still in the orange and red categories, they will continue to limit community activities in accordance with applicable regulations," concluded Argo.
