Narrow Victory, City Leads Once More

In addition to beating the Foxes, The Citizens also managed to regain the top position in the Premier League table once more, toppling The Reds back to the second best.
Playing as host at the City of Manchester Stadium, Pep Guardiola decided to play Phil Foden who has been showing an extraordinary play when beating Tottenham Hotspurs (20/4). Leicester, currently sitting at 9th position at the table, seemed unwilling to give Manchester City an easy title by giving a hard time in the first half. Despite the fact that Sergio Aguero, named to be one of the most prolific player of the season, played on, the first half ended in a tie.

Proven to lack confidence, Guardiola withdrew Foden, replacing him with Leroy Sane in the second half. The long-awaited goal finally came, when Vincent Kompany hit the ball from 25 yards from the corner kick, into the net. After the goal, Pep Guardiola took a massive substitution to the team, seemingly to defend their goal from a menacing attack of Jamie Vardy and co. The score stays on until the whistle blows at the end of the 90th minute with Citizens marching on.

With this triumph, it is almost safe to say that they are holding Premier League trophy, with the upcoming match against Brighton Hove Albion.
