Musician cancels book tour after Natalie Portman denies that they were dating

Moby was scheduled to appear at the Hay Festival along with the Manchester Literary Festival and events at EartH London and Dublin’s Liberty Hall, this weekend to promote his second autobiography. However, moby has canceled all of his upcoming appearances after he claimed to have dated Natalie Portman, which she denied.

A book tour by the US electronic music producer stated on their website that moby is canceling all upcoming appearances and they apologize for any inconvenience. Moreover, all tickets will be refunded and everyone who bought the tickets for the event will be provided with signed bookplates by moby.

Portman felt disturbed with the fact that moby sells his book with the story of him dating Portman when she was 20 which in fact that she was just turned 18. There were many factual errors and inventions in the book.

Moby stated that he completely respect Natalie’s regret in dating him, but it doesn’t alter the actual fact of their brief romantic story. On Tuesday, moby said on his Instagram that he wanted to apologize as well as take responsibility for everything and going to take some time to be away from the public eye
