Man City chairman: We will beat UEFA FFP Investigation

Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Manchester City chairman, confidently said that City will definitely win in the probe by UEFA committee into allegations they violated Financial Fair Play rules.   

In an interview with City’s internal media, Al Mubarak mentioned that he appreciates regulators for doing their job and regulatory process that investigates. He believes ifthe process is going to be judged based on facts then City will undoubtedly win.  

"We have to professionally respond which is what we have done. We are dealing with each of these entities as per the process, we have clear answers,” the City’s owner said.   

He is also sure the club will pass through the investigation without any unscathed.   

A shocking news appeared in March, after German publication Der Spiegel revealed hacked emails from Football Leaks about City inflating sponsorship income. The club later deny any breaches. 

On Tuesday, La Liga president Javier Tebas indicted Manchester City and Paris Saint-German’s owner Qatari  of "expanding the market" with their state-sponsored cash - "one-off petrol-money, one-off gas”.

Responding Tebas’ criticism, Al Mubarak said that it was just a “jealousy” and an “envy” by the growing success of Manchester City in this season following the club achievement of historic domestic treble.
