Man Arrested on Suspicion of Molesting 11-year-old Girl in Park Toilet
TOKYO – The police in Tokyo revealed that they have arrested a 30-year-old man on Wednesday, May 5. The man was arrested on suspicion of molesting an 11-year-old girl in a park toilet. The incident happened last month.
Kazuto Kondo, the suspect, is a teacher at a private school in Katsushika Ward. The police stated that Kondo has admitted to the charge. Sankei Shimbun reported that, when being interrogated, Kondo revealed that he did it to relieve his stress.
The police revealed that Kondo approached the girl in a park at around 5 p.m. on May 12. The girl was with her friend at that time. After approaching the two girls, Kondo asked them if they would like to play hide-and-seek with him, although he said that he did not know the two girls. Unfortunately, the girls said yes to the game.
Kondo stated to the police that during the game, Kondo hid in the women’s toilet and called out the girl to find him. The little girl eventually came to him, but he took her into a cubicle where he fondled her breasts and lower body. The girl managed to escape and she ran away to her friend’s home. Her friend’s parent called the police right away.
The police were able to catch Kondo after he was identified through security camera footage in the park.
