Man Arrested After Installing Spy Camera in Convenience Store Toilet

FUKUOKA – A convenience store employee found a planted spy camera while cleaning the toilet. The employee immediately reported to the police. After a series of investigations, the police found that Yuichiro Nakao was the one who planted the spy camera in the convenience store toilet.

Yuichi Nakao, a 28-year-old man, has admitted to the charge, according to the police. His act is an act in violation of public nuisance laws. He admitted that he installed the 5-milimeter spy camera back in October 24, 2018. Nakao is a company employee.

Nakao told the police that he did that to fulfill the pleasure of seeing woman naked and their underwear. He also said that he did that for the money. He would record everything caught on the camera using his smartphone, and later would upload the video to a website and sold it.

Police also did a thorough search in Nakao’s residence. After the search, the police found nine other spy cameras. The police then suspected him to have planted a few spy cameras in other areas as well. Due to this evidence and the crime he made, Nakao is going to be investigated more.
