Making TikTok Video, This Indian Teenage was Killed Tragically Instead

India - According to AFP, an Indian teenager was shot on Thursday (6/13/2019) while posing with a homemade weapon for a Tik Tok video, when one of them accidentally pulled the trigger. It is reported that the incident occurred in a hotel room in the western state of Maharashtra.

The incident happened when a 17 years old boy and his four cousins including a 11 years old child were in a hotel room in order to take a video to Tik Tok together. The homemade weapon was one of the recording properties. However, one of them accidentally pulled the trigger of a weapon and killed a victim in the room.

Local police officer, Anit Katke said that, they have arrested two suspects and both are accused of attempting murder. Katke also said that, the four suspects panicked and threatened hotel staff with weapons before escaping the hotel.

According to the source, India has banned the Tik Tok video sharing application in April as it lead to moral and cultural degradation for adolescents, however, they reactivated it after a court challenge and people demand, making the government re-thinking about the decision after this situation.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the other two suspects ran away, escaping themselves while the local police are still looking for them.
