Low-protein diet reduces cardiovascular risk

People are still looking for a perfect and balanced diet to not only make their body slim but also to save their hearts from failing. If you are one of them, then you might want to know this type of diet. A recent study found that limiting protein could decrease the possibility of cardiovascular disease.

Naturally, protein-rich food contains a high amount of sulfuric amino acids, often found in red meat, dairy products, nuts, and soy.

Once tested on mice, the limitation on sulfuric amino acid might prolong their lifespan. Therefore, it is safe to say that excessive sulfuric amino acid might have a correlation with chronic diseases in humans.

Limitations on sulfuric amino acids can halt aging and improve life expectancy. For mice, about 80 percent of methionine limitation might improve life expectancy by 43 percent.

However, the limitation of sulfuric amino acid might not do well for children or teenagers, as the component is integral for growth. Lack of sulfuric amino acid leads to stunting.

In similar research in 2018, a similar protein-free diet free of stunting was also found. The adults are suggested to avoid animal protein sources. Consuming fruits and vegetables leads to less sulfuric amino acids. The diet was found after an experiment that involved more than 11,000 participants.
