Kim Kardashian with inmate Kevin Cooper

Kim Kardashian Fights for a Possibly Wrongly Accused Death Row Inmate

Kim Kardashian, who’s recently has taken an interest in the field of law, visited San Quentino State Prison and spent nearly two hours with an inmate Kevin Cooper, who has been on death row since he was convicted of killing two adults and two children in 1983. She had an emotional meeting with the inmate as he found him to be a thoughtful and honest person. She believes that he is innocent of the crimes for which he was convicted.

Kevin Cooper is found guilty from murdering four people in 1983, including two 10 year old children. He was convicted in 1985 but never admits this charge and maintains his innocence until now after 34 years. His advocates have argued that DNA found on a T-shirt that Cooper admits he never wore should be retested. This request has been granted by the current governor of California, Gavin Newsome and the results are yet to be announced.

Kardashian also had ever requested the same thing to the former California government Jerry brown from her tweet. She believes that Cooper had been framed for the murder and commits herself to free Cooper from the death row conviction. After her meeting with Cooper, she becomes more convinced than ever that Cooper is innocence and is framed from doing what he had not done.

Cooper on the other hand can hope for the best, since over the past few months, Kardashian and her legal team have freed 17 inmates that served life sentences for low-level drug crimes.
