KFC opens an all-you-can-eat resto in Japan
What pops in your mind when you hear “all-you-can-eat”? Beef? Booze? Shabu-shabu? Well, hold up the thoughts for a second because this all-you-can-eat buffet is one you never saw before.Yes, an unexpected announcement came from a fast-food chain, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). On Wednesday, KFC opened an all-you-can-eat themed restaurant at Minami Machida Grandberry Park, Tokyo.
Maybe for some Japanese fried chicken lovers, the announcement was a “meh” for them as KFC had been promoting the seasonal all-you-can-eat campaign in Japan for a while. In other words, the Japanese KFC fans had to see their calendar for the feast.
But, they are in for a treat as this restaurant is here to stay at 3-4-1 Tsuruma, Machida-shi, Tokyo. Just take the train to Tokyu Denentoshi Line Minami Machida Granbury Park Station, and you can find the restaurant.
Adapting all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink concepts, the all-new buffet-style KFC treats its customers to a lavish journey to 50 kinds of menus. The food includes the signature, original recipe (OR) KFC chicken and other a la carte menus, while the beverages range from soft drinks to alcoholic.
How about KFC Japan’s signature dish? Of course, it is also available. The “Special Fried Chicken Soup Curry” is at your service. Rotisserie chicken and pan-baked potato casserole are also available.
Like a usual all-you-can-eat restaurant, KFC sets different pricing for lunch (11.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.) and dinner (5.00 p.m. – 10.00 p.m., but you might want to come before the last order at 8.30 p.m.). Both lunch and dinner offer an 80-minute all-you-can-eat feast.
For lunch, adults will have to pay ¥1.980, and ¥980 for students. For dinner, ¥2.580 is for adults and ¥1.280 is for students. On a side note, if you want to get drunk, you might have to pay an additional ¥1.250 for booze.
