Jokowi Will Create Talent Management Institution
The elected president and vice-president Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and KH Ma’ruf Amin delivered their victory speech at Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, West Java on Sunday, June 14. Jokowi, as the president, announced his plan for Indonesia from 2019 until 2024. Jokowi stated that he will create talent management institution in the near future.The president revealed that human sources will be the government's main priority that is why he promised to create talent management institution. In the institution, the government will identify, facilitate, as well as fully support Indonesian talented students' education in order to make them high quality individuals. Jokowi said that these talents need to be supported, with a hope they can make Indonesia proud in the future.
In addition, pregnant mothers, babies and kids’ health are the most important factors. Jokowi thinks that if Indonesia wants to have high quality individuals, the supports need to start from the early ages. Joko Widodo also added that Indonesia has a big resposibility in that certain area.
During his speech, the president of Indonesia talked about Pancasila as well. Pancasila is a foundational philosophical theory of Indonesia, which needs to be followed by all of Indonesian citizens. Indonesia is a home for all ethnicities and religions. Therefore, no matter what one’s ethnic and religion are, everyone needs to welcome that person.
