Jokowi meets the fishermen in Natuna waters

On Wednesday, the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) flew on a state visit to Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. Together with his entourage, Jokowi took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at 7.35 a.m. local time.

His entourage consists of:
1. Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif,
2. Chief of Staff of Presidency, Moeldoko,
3. Commander of the Indonesian Army, Air Chief Marshall Hadi Tjahjanto,
4. Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning, Surya Tjandra,
5. Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Heru Budi Hartono,
6. Military Secretary to the President, Maj. Gen. Suharyanto,
7. Commander of Paspampres, Maj. Gen. Maruli Simanjuntak,
8. Head of the Presidential Protocol and Press Bureau, Bey Machmudin,
9. and Presidential Spokesperson, Fadjroel Rachman.

According to an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat, having arrived at Raden Sadjad base, Jokowi and his entourage immediately headed to Selat Lampa integrated maritime affairs and fisheries center (SKPT), Natuna Regency. There, the former governor of Jakarta and Solo reviewed the ships and was expected to meet with hundreds of fishermen.

After that, Jokowi is expected by the Natuna’s regent at the office to hand over the land certificates for people in Natuna.

Done in Natuna, the President will head back to Raden Sadjad base and fly back to Jakarta.
