Japanese police was stabbed by a mysterious person, is this a serial attack?

The stabbing case seems endless in Japan. After being shocked by the stabbing case of Yuka Takaoka and Kawasaki, this time the stabbing case occurred in Osaka.

The victim is a police officer in Osaka. According to AFP, Osaka police said that the suspect had stabbed a police officer at Suita City police station on the chest Monday (17/6) morning local time.

This case is enough to make mass media uproar in Japan. Cause a few more days, this city will be visited by world leaders for G20 summit on 28-29 July. This case also made local people feel anxious. Because not only stabbed, the perpetrator also stole a gun from a 22-year-old police officer who had been stabbed.

Police have conducted a massive search of perpetrators. Luckily, police managed to arrest the 33-year-old suspect. He was arrested while lying under a bench where he put down the gun he stole. Police said that the suspect had pleaded not guilty. However, a detective from Osaka police said, after his identity was traced, it was found that the culprit had a mental disability.
