Japan Will Allow 10,000 People To Enter Their Country Per Day

The restrictions on the number of people who can enter Japan are now being relaxed, because the government is eager to increase the entry limits for people who want to come to Japan. According to Kyodo News, the current limit for people to enter Japan is 7,000 people per day. The Japanese government will relax the policy to 10,000 people per day on April 10, 2022.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said he would continue to relax border control measures for those who will enter Japan gradually after reviewing the situation of COVID-19 infection in Japan and seeing border measures implemented by other countries.

Border controls have relaxed somewhat since early March, however, Japan's entry permits for tourists have not yet been reinstated. For now, the daily arrival limit only applies to Japanese citizens, permanent residents, business people, and students.

Along with the decline in COVID-19 cases in Japan, we can certainly look forward to other things that will be reopened by the Japanese government.
