According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the relocation work will be carried out sequentially from November by the Earthquake and Volcano Department and the Atmosphere and Ocean Department, which is in charge of weather forecasting. The former government building and site will be returned to the Ministry of Finance as state-owned property.
