Japan : 728 listed companies revised downwards with the new Corona

By June 3, the number of listed companies that announced the downward revision (consolidated or non-consolidated) of their earnings forecasts as affected by the "new coronavirus" was 728 (up 27 companies from the previous survey). The total sales amount decreased by 728 companies' downward revision was about 5,877.3 billion yen (about 112,264 million yen increase from the previous survey).

Despite the illness of the spread of the new coronavirus infection, there are a series of related bankruptcies nationwide (216 cases at 14:00 on June 4), and there is concern that the impact will continue to spread.
