Jakarta PSBB Extension: Rules of PSBB in Jakarta During the Transition

The DKI Jakarta Government has decided to extend large-scale social restrictions (PSBB). However, this PSBB is a transition period. The phase I transition period will be evaluated at the end of June 2020.

The extension of the PSBB will be a transition period for residents to return to their activities by implementing health protocols. One of the activities that began to be permitted was that residents were allowed to go back to work, but only 50 percent of workers were allowed to work, the rest worked from home or WFH PSBB Jakarta.

In addition to the rules of working at the office, there are several other rules that are applied by the DKI Jakarta Government in this transition period :

1.      Mosque, Musala, Church, Monastery, Temple, can already be opened Starts  Friday, June 5 Tomorrow

Mosque, Musala, Church, Monastery, Temple in the DKI Jakarta area can already be opened for worship starting on 5 Junri 2020, but in practice they must still pay attention to health protocols such as carrying prayer mats or prayer tools themselves, may only be filled 50% of normal capacity.

2.      Offices still do WFH or arrange employees to shift work hours

Offices have begun to be able to carry out activities at the office again since June 6, 2020. DKI Jakarta Government inform for offices that are already open to set shift working hours for its employees or employees who come to work are recommended only 50% of the number of employees who enter. This is intended so that there is no overcrowding when going to and from work.

3.      Learning and teaching activities at school have not been permitted

Although starting from July 13, 2020 is a new school year for school children, but teaching and learning activities in schools have not been permitted to be carried out.

4.      Residents of Jakarta May Leave Home Starting Friday, June 5, 2020

However, the prohibition for residents of Jakarta to do activities outside the home has begun to be loosened, of course by complying with applicable health protocols, especially still wearing masks.

5.      Transportation regulations in Jakarta

The DKI Jakarta government allows cars to be filled with 100 percent passenger capacity. Origin with one's own family.

While public transportation such as the Transjakarta Bus, KRL and MRT will begin to be relaxed by extending operational hours. However, the number of passengers is still adjusted to the health protocol and applies a safe distance for passengers.
