Israeli airstrikes in Syria killed ten people

In response to rare rocket fire from Syria, Israel has carried out airstrikes and 10 people were reported dead, including Syrian soldiers and foreign fighters.

According to Israel’s army, two rockets were fired from Syria on late Saturday, in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights and one was in the Israeli territory. In response, Israel’s army attacked two Syrian batteries, intelligence and intelligence posts on the Golan Heights.

The attack killed three Syrian soldiers and seven foreign fighters, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. They died in missile strikes near the capital, Damascus, where Iranian forces and fighters are stationed. However, during the strike, none of the Syrian fire hit Israel.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister aid that he had ordered the strike and won’t tolerate fire. Israel will respond forcefully to any aggression against them. Hundreds of airstrikes in Syria have been carried out by Israel, and most of them against the Iranian and Hezbollah targets, to prevent Iran from entrenching itself militarily in Syria.

Syria and Israel carried out a missile attack in Quneitra on 27 May as retaliation for anti-aircraft fire targeting fighter jets. The Quneitra province includes the Golan Heights, is occupied and annexed by Israel.
