iOS 13 is not working on iPhone 5 and 6. What’s with The New Software?
California, USA - Apple at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2019 stated that, iOS 13 cannot be downloaded on the iPhone 5C, 5S, 6, and 6 Plus later on. However, the owners of iPhone 6S above can still download and enjoy the new iOS, including the SE, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, X, XR, XS and XS Max series.
Not only releasing the latest iOS for the iPhone, Apple will also launch the latest software for the iPad OS. This OS will be the last service software provided by Apple for iPad Air, Mini, and Mini 3 which all supported iOS 12 years ago.
As for the iPad series, iPad Mini, Mini 4, Air, Air 2, Pro 9.7, Pro 10.5, Pro 11, and Pro 12.9 will get the new iOS support service from Apple as well.
Reported by CNET, until February 24, 2019, 83 percent of Apple's mobile phones run iOS 12, while the other 12 percent use iOS 11, and 5 percent use the older version.
