Interpol saved 50 children from the pedophile website

International police agency (Interpol) had been arrested 9 peoples in Thailand, Australia and the US on Thursday (May 23 2019). They also had been rescued 50 children after investigators took down an online paedophilia ring. Chances are the number of suspects will still increase. Considering this operation will continue.

The investigation has been started since 2017. Focusing on a hidden "dark web" site with 63,000 users worldwide. Interpol believes that the number of victims is more than 100 children. The operation named Blackwrist was started by Interpol after they detected a number of photos showing 11 boys under the age of 13 being tortured on the site. Where site visitors use encrypted software to maintain confidentiality. Interpol said that the perpetrators of torture uploaded new photos every week. They often wear masks to these children to make it difficult to investigate their identity. The initial arrest took place last year.

The site's main manager, Montri Salangam, was detained in Thailand. While another site manager, Ruecha Tokputza, was arrested in Australia. Salangam, who persecuted one of his nephews, was sentenced to 146 years in prison in Thailand. While his envoy, a pre-school teacher, was sentenced to 36 years in prison. Tokputza was sentenced to 40 years in prison last Friday after pleading guilty to 51 criminal charges against 11 boys and girls. The sentence is the most severe that Australia has ever given to perpetrators of sexual violence against children.

Interpol has not provided identification regarding other suspects. But according to information circulating, some of them held positions of public officials and settled in the United States.
